Subsidized Summer Programs for School Age Children - 2024
Summer is a perfect time for children to be active, make new friends, learn new skills and have fun. The Children Services section is here to help you plan a great summer for your children at licensed child care and approved recreation programs.
Licensed child care centres and approved recreation programs offer high-quality, full-day programs in English and French in neighbourhoods throughout Greater Sudbury. Families with low and moderate incomes can apply for a child care subsidy to help pay for summer care in licensed child care and approved day camps. Find out more about eligibility on our child care subsidy pages.
Families who are eligible for child care subsidy can sign up for full-time programs for their children, regardless of the parents' work or school status. This will help more children have a positive, active summer full of fun and adventure. To find out if your family is eligible, call Children Services at 705-674-4455, extension 4279.
