Surveying for Contractors
Any contractor providing survey data to The City of Greater Sudbury must adhere to City Standards.
The City of Greater Sudbury uses AutoCAD Civil 3D and Eagle Point Data Reduction software to generate survey drawings. Other software may be used as long as the end product adheres to our standards and is provided in .dwg (AutoCAD) format.
An AutoCAD Civil 3D Template will be provided to the contractor along with our Master Field Code Library, Linework Descriptor Library, Data Reduction Line Library file, Data Collector Designators and a Sample Text file (Skead MR89).
All surveys are to be collected in reference to NAD83CSRS using the City of Greater Sudbury's MTM Zone 81 map projection.
