Entering a Plea of Guilt

All defendants entering a plea of guilt will do so remotely via teleconference. If you have discussed your matter with the Prosecutor and you are required to enter a plea of guilty as a result, a Notice will be sent to you to advise you of the date and time that your matter will be heard before a Justice of the Peace.

Calling into the Courtroom Proceeding

On the date and time indicated on your Notice you will call into the courtroom teleconference. As indicated on your Notice, the numbers that you will use to call into the courtroom teleconference are as follows:

  • Teleconference Number: 1-888-289-4573
  • Caller Code: 6020610

When you enter into the teleconference please state your name in order to let the Court Clerk know that you are on the call and place yourself on mute.

When it is time for your matter to be addressed, your name will be called and you will unmute yourself in order to address the court.

While waiting for your matter to be heard please ensure to remain on mute and respect the decorum of the court.

Once your matter has been addressed and concluded you will be provided with information regarding your next steps and you may disconnect from the call.
