Option 1 - Plea of Guilty - Voluntary Payment of Total Payable

When you decide to pay your ticket in full, you are confirming that you agree to the charge that was issued and a conviction will be registered in your name, which may or may not affect your driving record. The outstanding fine amount is called the total payable amount and is located on the bottom of the ticket you received.

If your ticket does not have a total payable amount indicated, but it does have a court date for a court appearance, you may have been served a Summons to Defendant.

Pay your traffic ticket:

  • Online at www.paytickets.ca
  • In person or by mail at 199 Larch Street, Suite 102, Sudbury, Ontario, P3E 5P9
  • By phone at 705-674-4455 extension 2299

Note: You have 15 days to select one option on the back of your ticket . If you do not select an option within 15 days, you are deemed not to be disputing the charge and the Court may convict you in your absence. Additional costs will be added.

Note: If you have not paid your fine within the time indicated on your ticket, you will receive a Notice of Fine and Due Date advising you that payment for your fine is still outstanding. If you receive this notice, the options for payment listed above no longer apply and you will be required to pay your ticket with the Provincial Offences Court Office.

If you were convicted in error through no fault of your own in the last 15 days and wish to reopen your matter, complete the Application for a Reopening.

Please be advised that if you have received a Red-Light Camera Ticket:

The date of deemed service, which can be found on the bottom left of your ticket is NOT the date that the ticket needs to be paid by.

The date of deemed service means the date that the ticket is received by the POA office for processing and the date that the charge is considered to be filed with our office against you as the defendant, and does not reflect the date that the ticket needs to be paid by.

Before you are able to pay your red-light camera ticket online or through the POA office, the date of deemed service needs to have passed, as the ticket will not have been entered into our system to be able to allow a payment to be taken prior to that date.
