Given the current circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 Pandemic, and the Order from the Ontario Court of Justice, the Early Resolution process will now be conducted via teleconference.

If you have selected Option 2 on the back of your ticket, you will receive an Early Resolution Meeting Notice (by Electronic Method). The Notice you receive will provide you with the time, date and telephone number for your  meeting with the Municipal Prosecutor to discuss a possible resolution of the charge or to request additional time to pay your fine (Step 1).

Following your meeting, and if an agreement is reached with the Prosecutor, your matter will then be heard in court before a Justice of the Peace in a courtroom teleconference (Step 2).
