Residents Invited to Apply to the Ontario(ON) Renovates Program

Residents are invited to apply to the ON Renovates program, a popular home improvement program that assists low and moderate income families and seniors in Greater Sudbury. Through the 2016 Social Infrastructure Fund ON Renovates Program, up to $20,000 in forgivable loan assistance can be used to assist homeowners in performing eligible major repairs to their homes.

Applications will be considered for repairs that would improve the energy efficiency of the home or increase accessibility through modifications and adaptations.  To qualify for this program, the following requirements must be met:

• Be 18 years of age, a Canadian Citizen or a Landed Immigrant
• Be a homeowner in the City of Greater Sudbury
• Have a maximum household income of $85,200
• Have a  home  valued at no more than $253,068

Applications for the ON Renovates program must be submitted by December 31, 2017. There is a dedicated amount of funding available so interested homeowners are encouraged to apply early.
