Greater Sudbury Transit Holiday Service Schedule

Hours of operation for Greater Sudbury Transit are adjusted as follows for the upcoming holidays. Free extended night service is available on New Year’s Eve, December 31, between 10:30 p.m. and 2:30 a.m., with buses leaving the Downtown Transit Terminal every 60 minutes at half past the hour.

Christmas Eve, December 24: Last departure from the Downtown Transit Terminal is 6:15 p.m. with the exception of Routes 701 Lively, 702 Azilda/Chelmsford, 703 Hanmer/Val Caron/Capreol and 103 Coniston. The Transit Information line at 705-675-3333 will close at 4 p.m.

Christmas Day, December 25: There is no Greater Sudbury Transit service on Christmas Day.

Boxing Day, December 26: Greater Sudbury Transit will operate on a Sunday service schedule.

New Year’s Eve, December 31: Free Greater Sudbury Transit service between 10:30 p.m. and 2:30 a.m. TransCab service will be extended to match additional hours where available.

New Year’s Day, January 1, 2016: Greater Sudbury Transit will operate on a Sunday service schedule.
