Clarification on Downtown Beech Street Parking Lot 2-hour Free Parking

Residents are advised that the two-hour free parking at the Beech Street municipal lot in downtown Sudbury remains in effect.

The two-hour free parking was temporarily out of service due to a programming glitch in the newly installed pay machine, however the issue has been resolved and the two-hour free parking has been restored.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

The two-hour free parking at the Beech Street lot will remain in effect until March 1, 2016, at which time the free two-hours will be removed, and regular parking fees will apply. The Energy Court municipal lot, located at Lorne and Elm Streets, will not be affected and will continue to have two-hour free parking after March 1.
