The City of Greater Sudbury’s landfill operating contractor is experiencing staff shortages related to COVID-19. As a result, the Sudbury Landfill Reuse Store will be closed on Saturday, January 22 and Saturday, January 29, 2022, in order to prioritize primary landfill operations.

The Ramsey Lake Skating Path will open for the season at 4 p.m. on Friday, January 21, 2022.

In order to continue providing important services offered by the Greater Sudbury Public Library and to better protect the health of staff and residents; effective Monday, January 10, 2022 all Library and Citizen Service Centres will offer curbside and counter services only. Municipal and citizen service transactions, the Clear the Card campaign and printing COVID-19 vaccination certificates will not be affected.
