Film production is making a return to Greater Sudbury, showing a positive sign of economic recovery and growth for the sector following months of shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

The Ellis Reservoir, the main water reservoir for the City of Greater Sudbury, is undergoing the final phase of its regular scheduled inspection. The water will be drained over the next few days, with inspections completed by end of next week.

For the third consecutive year, the City of Greater Sudbury has received an AA credit rating with a stable outlook from Standard & Poor’s (S&P) Global Ratings. This is one of the best ratings available. 
 

The Greater Sudbury Public Library is continuing its phased reopening plan with three additional locations beginning Monday, September 21.

The Local Planning Appeal Tribunal (LPAT) will hold a hearing on September 17 and 18 for the Kingsway Entertainment District (KED) planning appeal.
