With the spring weather finally here, bears are coming out of hibernation. The potential for human-bear interactions increases in the spring when there are less natural food sources available to them. This is when food sources, such as garbage and bird feed, can draw bears into populated areas.

The City of Greater Sudbury has extended the deadline for a public review of its 10-Year Housing and Homelessness Plan until Wednesday, May 22, 2019.

Elm Street, Sudbury- Sanitary sewer flushing will cause intermittent lane closures on the eastbound and westbound curb lane on Elm Street between Ethelbert Street and Eyre Street from 9 a.m. on Thursday, April 18 to Friday, April 19 at 3 p.m. Traffic control will be in place.
