Arts and Culture Organizations Invited to Submit 2018 Grant Applications

The Greater Sudbury Development Corporation (GSDC) invites arts and culture organizations to complete a grant application for 2018. Reports from 2017 can be found and grant applications for 2018 can be completed online at www.greatersudburyculture.ca. Deadline for submission of applications and reports is 4 p.m. on Thursday, January 11, 2018.

Traffic Update- Barry Downe Road and Lasalle Boulevard

Barry Downe Road, Sudbury- A private contractor will close the northbound curb lane in front of 850 Barry Downe Road on Wednesday, November 8 to inspect a newly repaired Bell manhole Work will be done from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Traffic Update- Barry Downe Road, Algonquin Road, Bank Street

Barry Downe Road, Sudbury- Asphalt removal will reduce southbound traffic to one lane on Monday, November 6 and Tuesday, November 7 near Fairburne Street. Work will be done from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Traffic Update- Kingsway, Paris Street and MR 35

Kingsway, Sudbury- Paving work will reduce traffic to one lane intermittently at the Microtel on the Kingsway from Friday, November 3 to Friday, November 10. Traffic will be periodically be down to one lane before splitting into two lanes near the McDonald's. Traffic control will be in place.

Traffic Update- Paris Street

Paris Street, Sudbury- Roof work at TDS will close two south bound lanes and the sidewalk in front of Tom Davies Square on Paris Street. Lane closures will be between the entrance and exits to the Paris Street parking garage on Friday November 3. Work will be between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m and both the entrance and exits to the parking garage will remain open during the work and traffic control will be in place.
