Water Service Interruption in Val Thérèse begins March 22

Repair of a water main on M.R. 80, between Dominion Drive and Campeau Street, will result in no water service to approximately 45 homes in Val Thérèse, starting at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22.

Tuesday's Special Meeting of Council Starts at 4 p.m.

A special meeting of Greater Sudbury Council regarding the Emergency Services Optimization Plan will start at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21, in the Council Chamber of Tom Davies Square, 200 Brady Street, Sudbury.

Traffic Update - Walden Winter Carnival

Anderson Drive, Lively: Festivities for the Walden Winter Carnival will close Anderson Drive, from the entrance to TM Davies Community Centre to Turner Drive, February 11 and 12.

Traffic Update - Riverside Drive

Riverside Drive, Sudbury: The continuation of the bridge rehabilitation project will result in lane closures on Riverside Drive, near Cross Street, on January 9 to February 24.

Traffic Update- Regent Street

Regent Street, Sudbury- A private contractor will close the northbound curb lane on Regent Street, north on Walford Road and the north bound curb lane north on Caswell Drive on Friday, March 31 for maintenance on Bell manholes.

Traffic Update- Regent Street

Regent Street, Sudbury- A private contractor will be repairing a cable in the Bell manhole closing the North Bound curb lane on Regent Street, south of Austin Street on Monday, March 13 to Friday, March 17.

Traffic Update - MR 80, Lorne Street

MR 80, Sudbury/McCrea Heights: Replacement of hydro poles by Hydro One will close the southbound outside lane on MR 80, from Donaldson Crescent to north of Tracks & Wheels, February 6 to March 31.

Traffic Update - Mountain Street

Mountain Street, Sudbury: Installation of a storm sewer system will close Mountain Street, between 327 and 321 Mountain Street, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on January 23 and 24.

Traffic Update- March 31

Leslie Street, Sudbury- A private contractor will close a section of Leslie Street between Mont Adam Street and Harvey Street for the installation of a new storm sewer system and manhole on Monday, April 3 until Friday, April 7.

Residents are invited to the Ben Avery Building at Laurentian University to welcome the Canada Games Council’s Bid Evaluation Committee to the community, and to show support for Greater Sudbury’s bid for the 2021 Canada Summer Games.
