With hot, humid weather in the forecast for the next few days, Environment and Climate Change Canada has issued a Heat Warning for areas within the Sudbury & District Health

Nickel Basin Road, Chelmsford- Road culvert replacement will reduce traffic to one lane on Nickel Basin Road, off Highway 144 from Monday, September 25 to Wednesday, October 4. Traffic control will be in place.

Logan Avenue, Sudbury- Paving operations will close the intersection of Logan Avenue at Lorne Street on Friday, September 22. Motorists will be required to use Dean Avenue and Quinn Street as alternate routes, Work will be done from 9 a.m to 5 p.m.

Lorne Street, Sudbury- Paving will close a section of Lorne street between Dean Street and Gutcher Avenue on Sunday, September 24 from 7 a.m. to 11: 59 p.m. Logan Street and Gutcher Avenue will not be accessible to or from Lorne Street.

Spruce Street, Sudbury- Water main, sanitary and storm sewer improvements will close Spruce Street from Regent Street to Whittaker Street on Monday, September 18 at 7 a.m. to Friday, October 6 at 5 p.m. Motorists can access Spruce Street via Elm Street, Albert Street and / or Eyre Street.

Asphalt Milling will reduce traffic to one lane at various locations throughout Sudbury from Sunday, September 17 to Thursday September 21 from 6 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Traffic control will in place and Sudbury Greater police will monitor traffic control through signalized intersections.
