Development Charges Public Meeting

The City of Greater Sudbury is accepting feedback on the proposed amendment to development charges by-law (2014-151) that would see development charge rates frozen at the June 30, 2016 level for one year. If approved, the phased-in and inflationary increases would  be implemented between July 1, 2017 and June 30, 2019.

Lane Closure on the Kingsway

An emergency road repair has closed one westbound lane on the Kingsway, just west of Silver Hills Drive. The curb lane in this area remains open.

City Wins Grand Prize for Being Sun Aware

The City of Greater Sudbury is proud to announce it was chosen as the grand prize winner of the Hypar Shade Camp Contest from the Melanoma Network of Canada‘s Screen Me Youth Sun Aware Camp Program. A custom shade sail system will be installed at the James Jerome Sports Complex near the children’s play area.
