The Libraries and Heritage Resources Section, Strategic Initiatives, Communications and Citizen Services Division, Office of the Chief Administrative Officer of the City of Greater Sudbury, requires Page(s).  The successful candidate must possess the qualifications and perform the duties, as set out below. The current range of pay for this position is $14.70 to $15.59 per hour.


Under the Direct Supervision of the Manager or Co-ordinator of Library Section or Branch.

  1. Shelve and file library materials.
  2. Read and straighten shelves.
  3. Shift books (i.e. major move or reorganization).
  4. Retrieve periodicals.
  5. Assist in preparing materials for withdrawal.
  6. Pack and unpack boxes.
  7. Develop and maintain a thorough working knowledge of CGS's Safety Manual and the applicable Provincial Legislation listed therein.
  8. Perform other related duties as required.


  • Successful completion of Secondary School (Grade X) Education.
  • No experience necessary.
  • Work with numbers and letters in sequence.
