Determine project budget and plans
Once the City provides the community group with a written letter or email outlining direction, the group can continue to develop project plans by researching examples and engaging vendors. It is recommended groups speak with the City about potential vendors and examples – in many cases, the City has done similar projects and can provide insight on things to consider to ensure the longevity of your project in the community.
Community groups must develop an estimated budget for the project, and project plans should include things such as necessary feasibility studies or preliminary design work, engineered drawings, estimates and quotes for supplies/equipment, etc.
