2018 Municipal and School Board Election Acclaimed Candidates

In accordance with the Municipal Elections Act, the City of Greater Sudbury City Solicitor and Clerk has declared the following candidates to be elected by acclamation, as the number of candidates running for the office is the same as the number required for the role.

The City of Greater Sudbury is seeking individuals to serve on the Election Compliance Audit Committee. The committee is responsible for considering applications for compliance audits related to municipal and school board elections.

Nominations Open May 1 for 2018 Municipal and School Board Election
The nomination period will open for the offices of Mayor, Ward Councillor, and School Board Trustee on Tuesday, May 1, 2018. The deadline for a candidate to file their nomination for municipal or school board office is Friday, July 27, 2018, at 2 p.m.
