Construction Works

The scope of work for the culvert replacement involves removal of the existing steel multi-plate culvert, replacement with a cast-in-place concrete open footing culvert and associated approach works.  The culvert replacement includes removal of the existing culvert, pile driving for the new culvert foundation, steel reinforcement placement and concrete pouring for the new culvert.  Approach works include replacement of guide rails, curb and gutter and asphalt over the limits of the excavation.  Also, water main and sanitary sewer construction within the project limits will be undertaken.  An eight (8) inch gas main is located along the east shoulder of Kelly Lake Road.  This will be decommissioned and removed prior to the commencement of construction and recommissioned at the start of September.

Tender documents may also be viewed at the same location.

Prequalification
Bidders must prequalify and the deadline to apply for prequalification is 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, April 19, 2017.
Only bids from prequalified Bidders will be considered.

A Tender Information Meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at 10:00 AM, in Committee Room C-13A, Tom Davies Square, 200 Brady Street, Sudbury, Ontario.
