Tenders must be submitted on forms provided by the Corporation, in a sealed envelope using the completed label sheet provided, to the City of Greater Sudbury, Supplies and Services Department, Second Floor, Tom Davies Square:

Construction Works
The construction works generally include the following:
• Site works and yard piping
• Demolition and removals
• Temporary diversion pumping
• Clarifier and aeration system replacement
• Associated mechanical and electrical works
• Testing and commissioning

Tender Documents

Tender documents and drawings may be downloaded free of charge from the City of Greater Sudbury’s (City) website http://www.greatersudbury.ca/tenders or may be picked up at the City of Greater Sudbury, Engineering Services Division, Third Floor, Tom Davies Square, 200 Brady Street, Box 5000, Station A, Sudbury, Ontario, P3A 5P3, on Wednesday, November 23, 2016, upon receipt of a non-refundable payment of $120.00 (includes H.S.T.).  Tender documents may also be viewed at the same location.

Prequalification

Bidders must prequalify and the deadline to apply for prequalification is 12:00 Noon, Thursday, December 1, 2016.

Only bids from prequalified Bidders and have attended the Mandatory Tender Information Meeting and site visit, will be considered.

Mandatory Tender Information Meeting - Mandatory

A Mandatory Tender Information Meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Boardroom at the Sudbury Wastewater Treatment Plant, 1271 Kelly Lake Road, Sudbury, Ontario.  A Mandatory site visit to the Azilda Wastewater Treatment Plant will follow the meeting.

The Deadline for questions is 12:00 Noon, Friday, December 2, 2016

Tender Opening

Tenders will be opened publicly at 2:30 PM, on Tuesday, December 13, 2016, by the Tender Opening Committee, in Committee Room C-13A, Tom Davies Square, 200 Brady Street, Sudbury, Ontario.

Tender Award

Lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.  Tender Award is subject to receipt of Council Approval of the 2017 Capital Budget.
