WATER INTERRUPTION AND TRAFFIC DELAYS ON HWY 144 AND M.R. 80
Department: Infrastructure Services
A section of Highway 144, between McKenzie Road and Vermilion Lake Road, will be without water service on Tuesday, February 9, for repairs to a nearby water system. Residents who receive municipal water service on Vermilion Lake Road, McKenzie Road, Pilon Crescent and points between on Highway 144 are asked to store water in preparation for the service interruption, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday. Residents who require water are asked to dial 3-1-1 for municipal services.
Motorists are advised of traffic delays on Highway 144, between McKenzie Road and Vermilion Lake Road, on Tuesday, February 9, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. for repairs to a water system.
Asphalt application in the area of a previous water main break in the McCrea Heights area will reduce northbound traffic to one lane on Wednesday, February 10. Motorists are advised to expect delays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on M.R. 80, between Simon Street and Guillet Street.
The City of Greater Sudbury apologizes for the inconvenience during these essential repairs.
