Public Consultation for Azilda Wastewater Treatment

Oct 27, 2016

The City of Greater Sudbury is conducting a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment to evaluate options to upgrade the Azilda wastewater treatment system and/or to expand its treatment capacity to meet future demands of the community.

Citizens are invited to ask questions and to provide input during an open house on Wednesday, November 2, anytime between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. at Dr. Edgar Leclair Community Centre, 158 St. Agnes Street, Azilda.

The objective of this phase of the Class EA study is to identify the preferred option to address a 20-year plan to serve the needs of Azilda. Public input will help the City identify gaps in information and evaluate options.

Project updates and notices will be posted on the City of Greater Sudbury website at www.greatersudbury.ca/water
