Online Voting Ends Friday October 24. Don’t forget to Voice your Choice!

Oct 21, 2014

The City of Greater Sudbury would like to remind eligible voters that this is the last week to cast your vote online for the Municipal and School Board Election.  Online advance voting ends on Friday, October 24 at 8:00 p.m.  In order to vote online voters need their Voter Information Package (VIP), which they received in the mail and contains the website, id and pin number needed to vote.

For those voters who did not receive a VIP, or if your address information is incorrect, you are encouraged to get on the voters list as soon as possible by visiting the election website at www.greatersudbury.ca/elections in order to be eligible to vote online before Friday.  Please do not submit more than one request per elector.

Online voting is not available on Election Day, October 27, 2014; however voters can vote by paper ballot at any one of the 25 voting locations throughout the city. Voters who are not on the voters list can still vote on Election Day by stopping in at any of the voting locations with identification and proof of residence and they will be given a ballot to vote.

Technical Support for those voters who wish to cast their ballot online during the advance voting period will be available between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. from October 14 to 24, by calling 1-855-378-0099.
