Notices of Road Construction: August 8 to 12

Westbound curb lane on Lasalle Boulevard, near New Sudbury Volkswagen, will close between 8 p.m. Sunday, August 7 and the morning of Monday, August 8, for water main work. Expect further delays for repaving of the road surface, scheduled for Tuesday, August 9.

Temporary lane closures at the intersection of Desmarais Road and Municipal Road 80 (Hwy 69N) between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., from Monday, August 8 to Wednesday, August 10, for monitoring of wells in the area.

Repaving and railway crossing improvements will occur at various locations east of Notre Dame Avenue and north of Brady Street, including Coniston, Wahnapitae, Wanup, Garson, Falconbridge and Airport Road, beginning Monday, August 8, until the end of the month. One lane will remain open to traffic at all times between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Luoma Road, in the Long Lake area, will undergo paving operations between Monday and Thursday, August 8 and 11.
