City of Greater Sudbury Offering a Free Sports Program for Children Ages 6 to 9

The City of Greater Sudbury is excited to announce a new FREE pilot project called Feel Free to have a Ball. It’s open to all boys and girls aged 6-9 and will help in the development of fundamental movement and ball sport skills. The program will be centered around ball sports such as basketball, volleyball, bowling, soccer and will also feature new and emerging sports such as pickelball and cricket.

The program will provide a great opportunity for youth to meet people, make friends and to learn new sports. A nutritious snack will be provided at each session.

The program will run once a week for an hour and half, every Saturday or Sunday for 8 weeks beginning on January 24. There is no cost to register for the program.

The program will be available at the following locations and times will vary per location.
