Canada Day Weekend Municipal Service Schedule

The following municipal service schedule will be in effect on Friday, July 1, for the Canada Day holiday:

• Tom Davies Square will be closed.
• Citizen Service Centres and libraries will close.
• Garbage and recycling collection are unaffected by this holiday. Landfills and recycling centre will be open July 1. Please make sure your garbage is at the curb by 7:00 a.m as pick up times may vary occasionally without notice.
• Greater Sudbury Transit buses will operate on a Sunday schedule.
• All municipal pools and community centres will be closed. Lifeguards will be on duty at municipal beaches.

• Parking at the Ramsey Lake boat launch will only be available for those who are launching boats onto Ramsey Lake (with trailers). Parking is limited. All other vehicles will be ticketed or towed.
• Parking will not be available in the municipal parking lot at the former St. Joseph's hospital on Canada Day.
• Canada Day Celebration shuttle service will be provided by Greater Sudbury Transit on Friday, July 1. Buses will depart the transit terminal and the Southridge Mall – TSC Hardware entrance every 30 minutes from 11:45 a.m. to 9:45 p.m. to bring passengers to Science North. Return trips begin after the fireworks at approximately 10:45 p.m. until 11:15 p.m. Fare is $1.00 per person and includes the return trip. Connecting service to other parts of the city will depart from the downtown Transit terminal. For more information, please contact Greater Sudbury Transit at 705-675-3333.
