Time Capsule Tour

Originally sealed on October 27, 2001, Greater Sudbury’s time capsule captured a unique snapshot of life in our community at the turn of the millennium. Nearly 25 years later, residents are invited to rediscover its contents and reflect on how far we’ve come—together.

As part of this special initiative, items from the time capsule will travel to library branches across the city, giving community members the opportunity to explore pieces of the past close to home.

Tour Schedule

  • Copper Cliff – August
