Nuisance Beavers

Beavers can become a nuisance for residents living or working near waterways. They can damage or remove trees from your property, build dams and cause flooding that may put public safety and infrastructure at risk.

The Sudbury Area Trappers Council has developed a nuisance beaver program to manage high risk areas outside of the regulated trapping season, which is from October 15 to April 30.

For questions and concerns about nuisance beavers on private property, contact the Sudbury Area Trappers Council at 705-586-1905.
