Using a browser plugin for your internet browser, you can view Colour Ortho-Photography of the entire City of Greater Sudbury. Flown in July 2003, at a scale of 1: 40 000. This fully-rectified and scaled (ortho) aerial photography is shown in 5 kilometre grids. By clicking on the index grid, this viewer will allow you to look at the photographs, then zoom into selected areas, obtain coordinates and measure distances between objects, and print or save portions of the images.

PLEASE NOTE: The browser plugin for your internet browser can be downloaded by clicking the download button found at the bottom of the screen. Once your plugin is loaded, the right click button on your mouse will allow you to choose several commands for navigation through the photographs. The viewer also has a toolbar and an on-line help function should you require additional assistance. If you find the images taking a little bit of time to resolve, please be patient as each file is a compressed 10 megabyte digital photograph.

TECHNICAL NOTE: For this imagery, the "Measurement Prefs" must be set to: Geo Units = meters and Display Units = kilometres The measurement selection is "CTRL + left click " not "CTRL + right click"
