How to Use this Site
The City of Greater Sudbury website is designed with the user in mind. Please see below for instructions on how to use the site and solutions for common problems.
Browsing
The City of Greater Sudbury website is divided into four streams to better serve user needs.
Living in Greater Sudbury – Information for those living in Greater Sudbury.
Inside City Hall – From Mayor and City Councillors to the municipal budget.
Business in Greater Sudbury – Resources and information for businesses.
Visit Greater Sudbury – Everything you need to plan your next stay.
Within each stream you will find a menu of topics – these are main categories that will lead you to another page based on your selection. The left-hand menu therefore changes as you move within the site. Should you need to navigate elsewhere, you will notice these streams are visible to the user, regardless of where you are in the site.
Search Function
The search function is located at the top right corner of every page on the City website. Simply type the keyword or phrase that describes the content you are interested in and click GO! This will bring you to a new page with a list of results that match the word or phrase you are searching.
Popular searches
There is also a list of popular searches that lists the most often searched items on the site. This option can be hidden by the user.
A to Z Index
Another option for locating information is the Services A-Z listing, which appears on every page. There are more than 80 city services listed in this alphabetical index.
Changing the font size
On every page you can make the font size smaller or larger using the "Text Size" buttons that appear at the top right corner of the page you are viewing.
