My goal for Greater Sudbury is for it to become a place that the people of Greater Sudbury are proud to call home.  I want Greater Sudbury to become a community in which the opportunities for work and play are endless.  Where what was once compared to the moon, will now be regarded as an environmental leader.  A community where generation after generation can grow old in the same community that they were born.  A community where its citizens are actively involved and informed.

The City of Greater Sudbury must become Canada's Centre for the Mining Supply and Services Industry.  We need to be proud of our mining heritage and realize that it is what we do best.  The economic spin offs from becoming a centre for mining excellence are endless.  Such a designation may very well help to reduce the outward migration of our youth and also bring many back home to the north.

The infrastructure of Sudbury, like that of most Canadian cities is declining rapidly.  We must continue to pressure the senior levels of government for our fair share of tax dollars. At the same time we must look at all of the options available to secure the money that is needed for our community.

We all want our community to be regarded as a healthy and active community.  I believe that recreation and leisure facitlities and programs have to be maintained to enable Greater Sudbury to be a healthy community and at the same time this will attract people to Greater Sudbury.

I want to work together with the citizens of Greater Sudbury as a team, to ensure that we can all take ownership and pride in OUR community.
